"I DO NOT BELONG IN THIS WORLD", is a Photographic Fine Art project. The project is a series of self portraits that consists of various hidden feelings seeded deep within me. The images represent me escaping from reality and into my dreams. Each image in this series is a portrayal of me in a heightened state of self awareness within a dream. The scenes consist of different perspectives, personal emotions, identities, and philosophies of my life. Throughout this self as subject project, I have explored various feelings, and who I am inside. It is not about what you can see, but instead who I really am. 'I DO NOT BELONG IN THIS WORLD' is a project that is the never ending journey of my life. In this project "I DO NOT BELONG IN THIS WORLD", the feeling of dreaming is my primary goal for each image. Self-portraits are the major subject. I took self-portraits nude in different environments and tried to make reality have some surreal feeling, and portray a process by which reality moves to pure dream. I also attempt to show transition in self-changing. These changes represent some feelings that I have kept hidden in my inner self. I used unique environments, my own nude body and some props. I composed each image from my imagination with the environment, and black-light installation to achieve the dreaming quality and conceptual goals for my images.
